General Policy

Payments made for services are considered final. However, we understand situations arise where a client may request a refund. Each request is evaluated case-by-case based on work completed, resources invested, and service stage.

When Refunds May Be Considered

Refunds may be offered only under the following circumstances:

  1. Duplicate payment
    If a client is charged twice for the same service, the duplicate amount will be refunded immediately.
  2. Payment made in error
    If you purchased a service unintentionally and no work has started, you may request a refund.
  3. Service not initiated
    If we have not begun strategy, analysis, onboarding, or execution, you may request a cancellation with a partial refund.
  4. Mutual agreement
    In certain cases where both parties agree that continuation is not beneficial, we may offer a fair partial refund.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • Work has already started or been completed
  • Deliverables have been shared
  • Content, audits, or reports have been created
  • Backlink outreach or placements have been executed
  • Client delayed progress by not providing access or inputs
  • Client changed the website, hosting, or platform mid-project
  • Rankings did not improve due to factors outside our control
  • Client expected guaranteed results or unrealistic outcomes

SEO is long-term and relies on many external elements. A refund cannot be based on ranking fluctuations, algorithm updates, or competition.

Work-Based Deductions

If a partial refund is considered, we calculate it based on:

  • Hours worked
  • Content created
  • Backlinks initiated
  • Strategy documents prepared
  • Tools and paid resources used
  • Team effort allocated

This ensures fairness to both sides.

Cancellations

Clients may cancel a service anytime by emailing support@offshoreseo.com. Cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund; it depends on service progress.

For subscription services, cancellation stops future billing but does not refund past payments.

Chargebacks

We strongly encourage resolving concerns directly with us. Filing a chargeback without communication may lead to:

  • Immediate suspension of services
  • Permanent account restriction
  • Legal documentation submission to the payment processor

We take chargebacks seriously because they harm our business and team.
